A little tidbit of Internet History is that the first website was not made on a Windows PC or a Mac, but instead on a NeXTSTEP system. The beauty of websites is that they're written in a coding technology called HTML (The HyperText Markup Language). Websites written in HTML could be accessed on any computer capable of reading it and showing it on the screen. Websites made on a Mac could be viewed on a Windows PC and websites made on a Windows PC could be viewed on a Mac. Awesome. And this was more than twenty years ago.
