About the Award...
The Top 5% of all web sites that gave our judges a permanent headache award ("The Award") was starting in July of 1996, for the original purpose of having a graphic to fill an empty space on my page. (Good use for an Award like this!) Of course, an image like this looks stupid without a link on it, and hence, the need for this page!
To display this award on your page, it ("your Page") must be annoying in some way to the naked eye -OR- have some really stupid content that is pointless and is TOO COOL to use a "trendy" award. (Or if we really like it!)
This award has recently been declared a free for all award... if you think you are worthy of the award, then you are a winner! Here is the HTML code you need to insert on your page (also, right-click the image to save it for use on your web site. You must upload this file to your site for it to work properly!)

What makes THIS page annoying...
Here are a few reasons why this page may be considered annoying...
  • The Colors DON'T go together!
  • The text is HARD TO READ because of the colors!
  • The page background MAY form a 3D image if stared at for a long period of time.
  • Excessive use of horizontal rules.
  • Horizontal rules are set to VERY WIDE.
  • Table uses WIDE border.
  • The Title of the page has annoying characters in it!
